More than Jadeja's innings, the most memorable moment for me was Venkatesh Prasad dismissing Aamer Sohail. There was a moment of pure silence followed by the Indians going bonkers and the Pakistanis sinking back into their seats. We even had some of our American friends chanting "Jeetega bhai jeetaga, India jeetega"!!!!

A cricket match live in India is a whole other experience. I've been to major sporting events all over the world including NBA playoffs, MLB World Series, NFL playoffs, African Cup of Nations Football Finals, etc.. but you really can't beat cricket in India.

Motor racing is a sport better watched on TV than live IMHO. Although I've only ever been to NASCAR rather than Formula 1, I doubt its much different.

I would also think so as one can see the whole race, while if on the ground, I think one sees the cars just as they zip past you right? Then you prolly have to wait till they zip pass you again.

An AoI Offers Sticky
Hi Folks,
Most of us get these mails from airlines giving some offers for certain periods etc.. some online TA booking agencies also hv offers running constantly like cash back, 2 for 1 etc.. Am thinking aloud.. is it a good idea to have a sticky for offers we receive on airlines located in india ?? It maybe an offer from some airline, some online booking agent but as long as it may be useful to any of our members, it may make sense to have a sticky for this ?? Views ? |

In its original form it needed some coding, and so went to the wishlist, but in my latest version (post# 6) I offered a simple way to do this, like yours. This would be an excellent and simple way to keep upto date with developments in all airlines.

Thanks to BA I received one of my bags and they misplaced 3! You got to be impressed with their 1st Class Priority tagging. They know which customers to look after. If they can't transfer bags in 5hrs then.....:td: Nice hot shower followed by a cozy bed! BTW 3ft of snow here! |
