Wow, that is an awesome fare! Well done Keyser.

SuperFlyBoy Dec 25, 2012 10:03 pm

I got a UA ticket BOM-EWR-LAX for $4k, but that isn't as good a deal as Keyser's.

(Of course, Jet is selling the same dates for very little in Premiere! :p Too bad we're going for real EQM/PQM!)

DL sells really low biz fares at times, but their FF program sucks, unfortunately, as I heard some good things about their in-flight hard product.

Yes, and a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to All!

That's why you credit to AS when you fly DL

Thoughts?

AF isn't an option for the date I need to fly back to Paris. Choices are AI (with earning into my LH M&M account) or OmanAir. Price is almost identical, timing slightly but only slightly better with OmanAir. I'm normally a LH flyer (or BA in a pinch) to India so feeling a little lost here! :)

Whoops! Not Y - definitely J :) (I'm not an AF flyer, which I know is odd considering my location but the AF flight is not available, and the miles on AI are tempting as I can add to my M&M account)

AI is not bad in business on the 77L. Not great but not bad either. Plus they offer non stop to CDG. I would definitely go with this option.

That's what I was thinking. I'm actually flying from BLR and AF has the non-stop, but no availability. But the arrival is about the same on those two flights if I cannot get on the AF flight (AF is preferable in this case due to the earlier arrival in the day back at CDG as I just have one night back in France before I leave again the next day so enough time to drop a suitcase! :D )

Thanks for the input.

Depending on when you are flying there is a slight possibility that the equipment to Paris may be changed to the dreamliners. Expected from 1st January but can't confirm it.

Also never experienced but I have seen advertisements of Oman air of best business class and they offer wi fi too on their 330's which you will not get on air India.

Oman air does offer a excellent hard product in Business. Got to agree on that.

All depends on the OP's requirements I guess. You want direct or do you have time to stop?

Thanks for the recommendations. Price and timing being almost equal, I think that the chance of the Dreamliner plus the M&M mileage gives AI the edge this time around.

Unfortunately no time to stop; the New Year begins with a lot of distance straight away. :(

Speaking of Dreamliners, my AI flight to CCU just got pushed back by an hour and changed to a 787 :p
