Will there be a J meal service? What is a typical menu?

Thanks.
There will be a meal.

Booked JFK to MAD in Y with AA, operated by IB. Anyway I can upgrade my seat via cash? I picked seats but I'm unable to see the seating chart now. Best to call AA or IB?

I haven't done it, but it's possible to bid cash for an upgrade in booking management.

Wondering if anyone can help.

Trying to book flights on my first IB flight. (6123) from MAD to MIA. The seating plan suggests Y starts at Row 21 but can't see any matching seat plans?

Any ideas?

Seating
[*]Business Class seating on the A321 runs up until Row 8. Everything after is 31” pitch except door exits have a lot of legroom like on BA[/list]

Is this still the case? I assume seat guru is wrong when it suggests that extra legroom extends back to row 14 - the maximum that the biz cabin could be?

I thought I'd flown on a 321 a year or two ago and was moved out of an exit seat row 9 to one before 14 and there was an inch or so more legroom.

I think it's row 14 too.

Looking through the forum, I assume you still can't search AA metal using IB+ Avios online?

Also, it won't price mileage for any flights unless I have enough in my account. Thought about an AMEX transfer with the bonus, but have no clue how many avios it would cost as well as taxes ex-LHR.

Thanks

There is extra legroom up to and including row 14 on an A321 - I know because I've flown it twice in the last two weeks. A hand note for tall people!!

If you upgrade (paying) do you get the extra avios and tier points like you do on BA?

Yes, up to 6 months from the date of the flight (if you were already an IB+ member) or up to 3 months before you joined the programme. Go to your Avios movements, at the bottom of the list there is a link to claim missing Avios.

Wondering if anyone else has had this, or knows what's going on.

I have a booking in business on BA7058 (IB3166), MAD-LHR. It is shown on the booking (and on myflights) as being operated by an A340-600. However, the seat I have been allocated is 2L, and I am unable to view a seat map on IB/AY/BA to change it. Unless I'm mistaken, based on seat maps available on seat guru, the A340 doesn't have a seat 2L - but an A330 does.

Is is it likely that this will be operated by an A330 but is just coded as an A340, or is there some other problem with my seat allocation here? Thanks.
