Update
I just called GP Customer Service and there is a problem with some users accounts preventing them from logging on and they are aware of the problem.
They said they are working on fixing them and hope to have the problem addressed by later today. |
Still problematic
Even on the best days Hyatt.com ever had account log in is still semi sluggish/slow compared to any site otherwise the site is fine typically I did find a way to trick the system into logging into my GoldPassport.com when it doesn't want to more then a few times. That is if you don't get a gateway time out first Log into the regular upper right drop down box/ screen and wait a few minutes or two.As it struggles to log in pretend to ignore what you have done and search for a revenue room rate at the same time. The system works quicker when searching for room rates then logging into ones GP account x out of the page u don't want go back to your account you might be logged in and may be able to see your account and reservations if you are lucky you At that point u should be logged in Welcome to Hyatt.com :p |
ALL active reservations have disappeared!?!
Logged in this AM - to find all active reservations gone. Name is there. Points are there. All other assoc "stuff" is there. But no reservations.
Which I certainly hope is a website glitch as I am to begin a 4 day Key West stay using FFN's today! Is anyone else seeing this? (and Peter - once I have my response and my panic attack has ended - :D please feel free to move this to the website problem thread) |
And there's no last stay credited?
This is a known website glitch, don't worry :). Try re-logging in/ different browser. |

I've encountered this exact same thing too a few months ago but it became normal after 1 hour or so. Definitely a website glitch.
|
My stay credit history, about 25000 points, and my promotional awards have disappeared. My reservations are still there though!
I cleared cookies, tried a refresh as well as a different browser, and now I get: An unexpected error has occurred while attempting to process your request. Please try again later. For assistance, please contact Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service at 1-800-30-HYATT or your nearest Worldwide Reservation Center. Hmmm. Guess I'll try GP again later. |
ummmm... now I see 18000 points deducted for an award stay at Paris Vendome checking out today. I'm not in Paris. Wish I were. But I'm not. Has anyone else experienced this "glitch"?

I've been trying to log into my GP account for two days. I have used two different computers in two locations to no avail. I have also tried logging in on my Verizon Wireless Droid. Nothing...the site just hangs....
Anyone else have the same problems? Suggestions? Edited to add: I have tried both hyatt.com and goldpassport.com. |

Anyone else have the same problems? Suggestions? Edited to add: I have tried both hyatt.com and goldpassport.com. They say that certain user accounts are effected by this (but not all accounts) and that they are working to fix it. For example, my wife's account works just fine, but my account hasn't worked at all. I can view all the pages on the hyatt.com and goldpassport.com site with no problem at all; it's just when i try to logon to hyatt.com or goldpassport.com it hangs and eventually gets a gateway timeout error. |
After an eternity hanging and spinning, I get the following error:
Gateway Timeout The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server. |

Gateway Timeout The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server. I started getting it occasionally about two weeks ago or so (but i could login 1 out of every 2 or 3 attempts), then 6 days ago I started getting that every time I tried to logon and haven't been able to logon my account since. I looked up that error message online and it seems to be some problem with a particular server being down or between two servers communicating. Since it only happens to some accounts and not at all to other accounts I wonder what the affected accounts all have in common? It's VERY frustrating, but goldpassport customer service has been very helpfully doing anything with my account over the phone that I usually would do with my online account. |

It turns out that the entry was a points redemption for a FUTURE date. I've been booking through the NBT link, so I'm not sure what happened and why the stay was deducted as points. What threw me way off was the posted check-out date. Past points award stays have not shown up in my account detail until I've actually completed the stay--and they're matched up with the proper stay dates. In any case, it's fixed. |
