2010 Stay Count Apparently Exaggerated

I have 3 stays so far in 2010, which makes 6 with the Stays Count Double promotion. The website, however, shows 7 stays. It would be nice if that was the official number, but I'm wary of relying on it. So I called GP Customer Service. They said 6 is the correct number. Has anyone else had this problem?

The system integration between the Gold Passport Site, the Hyatt.com site, the e-Concierge site, and the new "eStandby" upgrade site seems nonexistent. Not only are the systems built by different vendors but also the user experience/look & feel is also inconsistent.

Hyatt really needs to streamline this so we can access all of our info in one location without having all these log-in/out errors. I get the "Please log-in" error (when I am logged in) about 30% of the time.

There is also an issue with the "account detail" data is not always showing up. It often tells me I have no future reservations when I have a bunch of them.

Hyatt has a job posting for a "Web Project Manager" in their corporate offices in Chicago. As a Diamond member and all the time I've spent with their website, I seriously considered applying. Plus I have years of Silicon Valley e-Commerce & IT experience. Hmmm, I wonder what the perks are for corporate employees.

(bolding by me)

If you only get that message 30% of the time you are about 50% ahead of me. It is unbelievable.

I hear they are great. Please apply. Please. ^

After 1 year servuce, 12 free room nights and access to the EMPL rate and FAML rate codes. (And no, they don't work by typing them into the offer code FTERS!)

Hey - nice perks - maybe Hyatt should make me a honorary employee with these perks - with all the time I spend on them here on FT :D

I have been having the same problem, with my future reservations disappearing. The only way to get them to reappear is to enter the confirmation number and keep reattaching my Gold Passport number to the reservation.

I finally called a few days ago and they said I was the only person to report this issue, and confirmed to me that my GP number was indeed mysteriously detaching itself from my reservations even though the numerous confirmations all clearly stated it. They reattached it themselves over the phone, and it's still there. Fingers crossed...

Oh, and I also always got caught in the endless "you're already logged in" circle of death, until I made a point of logging out each and every visit. That worked!

What I wouldn't give for this function on hyatt.com!!!! This is one of my biggest peeves about hyatt.com, especially when you hit the "back" button to change a date which causes the whole annoying large map to load up again in slow motion speed. :td::td::td::td:

For folks using Firefox, you can forever banish the agonizing load of the map.  Just get the "....... Plus: Element Hiding Helper" extension and add this rule:

hyatt.com##div#HyattMapContainer

You can also totally stop Firefox from using the delete key as a "back" button:

Type about:config in address bar
Scroll down to browser.backspace_action and double-click to bring up dialog box
Type 2 as the value when dialog box comes up

:)

I've been getting that message off and on the last couple of days from the west coast. The site will work fine for a while, then I'll get that message for a while (or the page will just time out), then it just starts working again.
