Hyatt.Com - Website Problems
For at least the past month or more Hyatt.com has been extremely slow when checking availability and rates or accessing my GP account. Sometimes it takes in excess of a minute to display a rate. I have a broadband connection and this is the only site which is so slow. Are others experiencing this slowness as well ??

Yes - been slow for me too - not to mention won't work with IE9 - its been slow since they added the silly maps - which serve no purpose without proper scaling.

Yes, I cannot even sign in to my account before or after securing a room choice.

Very Slow
I've notced hyatt.com to be especially slow at times (beyond even the incremental delays that were caused by the addition of maps) over the last couple of days. It could be other parts of "the internets" rather than he site, though.

I couldn't log in at all w/out timing out yesterday afternoon- Diamond line rep said they were working on it - I suggested they might try pressing the big red button marked "reset". Back to its normal slow speed today.

Ok - Hyatt really needs to get their website working - I just tried to check some rates and it keeps telling me that "checkout date is before checkin date"

I think I'll make this thread a sticky after renaming it - since there aren't a lot of stickys in this forum - maybe Hyatt will take notice and start improving their website.

I don't like how user-unfriendly it is about requiring such frequent logins.

I sent an e-mail to the Gold Passport Concierge 4 days ago about this problem, but have never received any response. Is she still monitoring this board?

I have also noticed errors when signing-in using the drop down box. It has Mr skunker and my status but when I enter my password I get an error that reads
"A session already exists, and the username and/or password you have given differ from those of the currently authenticated user. Logging out the currently authenticated session."
Then I have to log-in again.
Both errors occur using PC or Mac. I was looking for a thread like this last week, but one didn't exist and I forgot to make one. Now I know I'm not alone.

The site keeps disconnecting my Reservation from my Gold Passport account and changing my check in time to 12 hours earlier. I think the time changeing has to do with the clock connected to GMT or something.

several weeks ago when I checked into the site I was asked if i wanted to complete a survey -- i completed the survery several times over a few days, each time listing "SLOW" as the major problem with the site. Doesn't anyone at GP read their own surveys . . . or this site?
