Staying here for one week and got both a nice Jr Suite Upgrade as well as complimentary parking for the entire week. Points Stay.
Still a bargain at 12k a night considering how much rates are at this property nowadays. I can still remember ~$100 Hyatt and $55 Priceline/Hotwire Rates in 2009-2012.

AFAIK comp parking isn't a Globalist benefit per se, only on full points stays. I just asked for it because this thread reported conflicting results. I don't even have a car or max 1-2 days.

Have a one-night stay here to do a meeting before going on to Japan — got an email a week ahead from the VIP manager. Seemed quite personal, and genuine — asking for needs, requests, etc. Is this a regular thing? It didn't read automated. Requested a late check out, which she arranged.

Anyone have any insights to the cost of laundry?

Any recent stays? My husband & I arrive this Thursday (American Thanksgiving) for 6 nights. We're using an Explorist lounge access award, looking forward to it.
If anyone has restaurant recommendations in the area, I'd love to hear them!

Had another nice stay here. Got a suite upon check-in (asked for it). Breakfast a-la-carte is good, perhaps even very good. Grain remains a solid bar. For a Regency, this really is a pretty nice property. Tons of great hotels in Vancouver, though — comparatively, it's not a great choice, but for a Hyatt 'conference-y' hotel you could do a LOT worse.
About 10 minutes of walking from Gastown and great restaurants. I highly recommend Lupo, what a gem of an Italian restaurant.

Back again! Rather sad looking Club here, despite the staff's best intentions. It feels like a converted hotel room. Perhaps it is?
Asked for suite, got one. Staff at Grain are lovely, lovely, lovely as ever. Parking staff were awful (not affiliated with Hyatt, so whatever). Remains a nice downtown option, but not very competitive with the nicer hotels around as far as rates go.
