My 3 night stay at the PH Saigon posted, wow, 23k points total with the bonus. Even measly one night HP stays are netting 2,500 points total. I am now at 112,000 points total for the promo period, so maybe 50k of it is promo bonuses. I have stays at the new unbound property in Phu Quoc and the GH Bangkok later this month, but unfortunately those are outside the promo period. It's been a nice run!

2x points would have been just 536 points listed under the Q3 Promo.
I also registered for this promo and completed a stay T HP....from the image below, looks like I only received 2x versus 3x for a HP stay?

Your base plus 2x that for the promo equals triple points

Right on schedule, although today’s deval could have been worse.

apologies if this was answered somewhere but I didn’t see it in this thread or the FAQs. Do stays checking in on Dec 15 but checking later (e.g. Dec 18) count?

Historically, Hyatt has always worked on check-out date, so I would not expect stays checking-out after 15 Dec to count.

Just looked at my account and had a stay December 15-December 16 and didn't get triple the points at a Hyatt Place. The terms and conditions say "eligible stays under this promotion must be completed September 15 through December 15, 2019"

To me through December 15th means a stay on December 15th.

Hyatt typically works based on check out date, not check in date. Another example of this is Category Certificates their expiration date means it needs to be used by the check out date or sooner, not the check in date.

Check-out date. Hyatt has always been this way. Hilton for example as well...

"To me" is irrelevant.

"completed thru Dec 15", your checkout is a day later, so "thru Dec 16", so not completed by Dec 15, so not eligible
Hyatt has always been check-out date.

I guess I am used to how Marriott does things that's why I asked.

Marriott promo "The promotion earning period is for stays between October 29, 2019, and January 14, 2020"

Normally if I made a state January 14th I would receive credit.

Thanks for all the advice this is good to know going forward.

Hyatt newbie here, just hit Globalist for the first time. Former SPG who bailed out post Marriott. When should we expect the next promotion to start? Am starting to book 2020 travel.

Judging from 2018 and 2019 Q1 Promos, they usually start in February. The Q1 promos are usually earn 1000 pts per night at any Hyatt/SLH/MLife property or 1500 pts per night at Hyatt Place/Hyatt House Properties.

Old Threads:
Hyatt Q1.5 2018 promotion Morepoints
More points promo - 2/15-5/15/2019 - 1,000 (or 1,500 pls / night)

Question about past promos like the one you noted.

During that promo if you booked 3 rooms at a hotel for the same 4 nights (effectively 12 nights paid for) would you receive 500/1,000 points per night for each room or only for 1 of the rooms?
