Will hit 60 tomorrow to officially no longer be globalist lite. Got another nice suite upgrade to boot. It’s been a very good year with Hyatt.

53 nights now, 54 next week, and will cross the 60 nights threshold in Paris after 3 nights in Prague. Let’s see how things will be in 2023 when the Globalist lites will no longer be with us 😜

Similar numbers for me. I decided I’ll just burn a relatively small number of Hyatt points for a very cheap 3.5K/night 5 night stay at a property near my home. I’ll check in on day 1 and that’s it. 17.5K points seems well worth it bump into Globalist.

Started a 20 night challenge in October, half way done. Will end up with 22-23 nights pretty comfortably.

37 nights. Between card spend, the double EQN promo from the biz credit card and planned work/vacation stays I ought to comfortably land somewhere between 60 and 70 nights.

52 nights now, in the midst of a 3 night stay. Will be 55 by the end of the stay.

Just hit 40 nights last week. I have 3 nights booked in November and nothing in December so that may be it. I've done more than last year where I squeaked into being a Glob Lite but sadly I think it's back to Explorist for me.

Just hit 70 nights. Not based in the US, so no credit card nights for me.

Hit 62 nights last week. Will probably finish the year around 70 nights. About 55 nights from actual stays and 15 from credit card. It has been a great year as a first time Globalist. Excited to see how 2023 is now with the full 60 nights needed for re-qualifying - hoping for even more upgrades!

There are tons of Globalists from the promotions in the past 2 years. You'll be fighting for upgrades with even more Globalists next year.

I agree for qualifying last year when the threshold was cut in half (and then you had the double nights promos) but I’m not sure I believe there has been that many promotions this year to make even more Globalists for 2023. I know we’ve had the double nights for opening the business Chase card and double nights at all inclusive proprieties. But that just doesn’t seem to me like a huge amount of promos (compared to 2020 and 2021). I guess we will see in March 2023.

There are tons of threads of people signing up for Globalist challenge with 20 nights.

There's no way there will be more Globalists next year than this year. The promos Hyatt has run this year are the same ones from pre-Covid. Nothing like the the ones from early 2021.

I wouldn't be so sure.

More people are traveling this year than in 2021. Probably a lot more people are into the "game" of chasing status than before. More awareness of earning nights cheaply in Vegas. Seems like there's no limit to who can sign up for the 20 nights to Globalists. Double nights promo with Chase Business card. Double nights in all-inclusives.
