Hyatt now has a splash page on their site that lists the opening as Spring 2013.
The official twitter account AndazMauiWailea is even more specific, listing the opening as May 2013.

Alas, the official Facebook site, and this article from last week (also announcing a hotel restaurant run by Iron Chef star Masaharu Morimoto) says "Summer 2013".

According to their social media responses on Facebook they will be opening in 'late June' and will start accepting reservations in the coming weeks.

Exchanged a couple of e-mails with a rep at the hotel and she said same as the Facebook page: they are opening late June/early July with reservations starting (hopefully) later this month.
I've got reservations for Kauia later this year, but might switch to this place if open.

It's not uncommon a reservation has to be cancelled due to delay in opening.

They must have one amazing contractor to be saying this place will be ready by late June-of this year.
