It's not working for me either. I'm getting the all-too-familiar "JBoss" error

Different sources of funds - credit card is funded by chase and property renovations are funded by property ownership which is not Hyatt in most cases.

I can search for hotels and rates but can't sign in to my account.

The Hyatt Gold Passport system is undergoing maintenance.
Access to Hyatt Gold Passport account information on-line and through customer service will not be available.
To book an award or join Hyatt Gold Passport, please call 1 800 304 9288 or your nearest Worldwide Reservation Center.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

I have 10 reservations, all listed on the reservations list online on goldpassport.com. For most of them right now, if I try to look at "details", it takes me to this page:

The name on your reservation does not match the confirmation number you have provided. Please click here to return to the previous page and verify that you have provided the correct name and confirmation number.

To speak with a Hyatt Representative from within the US and Canada, please call 1-800-633-7313. To view our list of contact numbers available in other countries please click here.

I contacted GP last week to redeem my 4 suite vouchers. I was told that 3 were booked and I would get an email confirming. The fourth one needed confirming with the property but I would here within 24 hours.

No email and only 1 voucher redeemed for Coconut Point, FL, for a Grand King - doesn't sound like a suite? The other three reservations haven't changed. Have emailed GP but silence so far.

Hi!

Can you PM the reservation details to us? We'll be happy to look at this for you!

The "JBoss" error is all I get trying to access hyatt.com this a.m.

Now you can save credit card to your profile!

Made a reservation just now and there's a new checkbox to save the credit card to your profile. Hip Hip Hurray: they just saved me 40 cut-and-paste operations per year. :)

That's great. Hyatt has been saving your card in your profile that only customer service could see and use.

But I have my questions about their IT department and the security of saving it to your online profile.

If they can't keep their website functioning properly, well, I just don't trust them with my card information.

For once Hyatt.com is up when other websites are down--both Hilton and Radisson are down

bbernahl Oct 28, 2012 1:14 pm

Bill from Hyatt E-Commerce here.

To Mary2e and others concerned about credit card security, I wanted to let you know that that credit cards are strongly encrypted and our web systems are all fully PCI compliant and always have been. Security for the web site is reviewed by our internal security team as well as a third party. Given the additional sensitivity surrounding storing credit card numbers on the web site, we conducted an additional review by a second third party to ensure there would be no issues.

Mary2e Oct 28, 2012 5:27 pm

That's really great. Many companies do this.

Many companies also have functioning websites that don't go down all the time.

Hyatt, unfortunately, does not. When it stops crashing or being unavailble, I'll be less concerned with security protocols being used - because they may not work at times either.

nighthawkrs Oct 30, 2012 3:40 am

I'm not able to login since this morning.
All I get is once again:
"Sorry, we're experiencing technical difficulties and were unable to complete your request."

@someone here from Hyatt: Why is your website so often not working properly or even completly not working? I can recommend you a company who's offering such services in a very reliable version!
