A lot of functionality doesn't seem to be working (for the whole Sunday so far for me).... totally useless, I guess Sunday is a rest day for the IT'ers as well.

down for more than 24 hours now...
I already placed some bookings with Hilton and SPG, maybe this will be a new downtime record |
It completely baffles me that Hyatt runs their business this way.
They must either have a management culture at HQ completely lacking accountability for performance -- or they refuse to provide the resources necessary to run their e-commerce properly. Whichever it is, for a corporation (public, no less) to operate this way in 2012 is completely unacceptable. |
Indeed... there goes my planned activities for today. This is really ridiculous, worthy of a complaint.

Wow this is horrible. I can't see any of my future reservations (20+ of them!). I hope I don't have to rebook every single one. I would just go to a different hotel chain...
|
Horrible it is... but your reservations will be there again when they finally fix this. History has at least shown that :td:

The Diamond Telephone Agents do not have access to existing reservations and they can't make new reservations.

I'm certain the Hyatt servers were flooded due to Tropical storm Sandy  Marriott is cheering them on as we post ;) |

They do seem to have toll free numbers from most countries, but I despise having to use the phone... I like to see what the rates and other options are. Something I'm not really getting when calling.
And also not very useful when checking reservations. Still nothing showing in my account 7 hours later.... into the e-mails I guess for the info. A 24/7 number would at least provide some info, and maybe useful for locking something in that I could always go online and change later. But yes, I don't like to call either. And in any case it seems that the phone res were out this time as well. |
Effective 2013 Hyatt will give up running their website after numerous failures
They will turn all eligible booking channels over to third party sites who will maintain better website integrity & booking consistency :D Third parties will become the new eligible booking channels :) Disclaimer: this has been a 777 global mile hound joking around post:cool: |
Joke all you want... I would welcome this ^

Does this thread include complaints about the Hyatt Droid app? It's sort of a website issue - right?. I was looking for a AAA rate this past Friday. I clicked all the right boxes in the app but no AAA rates. I knew this couldn't be correct so I had to head to a place where I could looking on a computer. Lo and behold what do I find, AAA rates for the same hotel that the app didn't show. Not going to be using that app much

I am struggling to use Hyatt.com on safari on my iPad to make any reservations. The data fields (city and dates) have issues in populating,
Is this a previously known problem? |
