Wow, this is professional. I have to book 2 hotel stays for later in this week and here is what I get...

"Our online reservation system is currently unavailable. Please try your request again later.

To speak with a Hyatt Representative from within the US and Canada, please call 1-800-633-7313. To view our list of contact numbers available in other countries please click here.

To reach us electronically, click here. "

Can Hyatt have a more useless website? Probably will have to stay at a PC property instead since I don't care to waste my time on the phone.

The clincher is that you cant even access reservations over the phone! I tried reaching my PL rep and the regular GP reservations over the phone and only received a message saying "Please try again in about an hour's time". And I have been trying for the past 2 hours! Am trying to book a stay for tonight.

This is a new one.

I get an "invalid security certificate" error when trying to redeem a night in Yogyakarta.

I just thought I'd post so people don't think that the website reservation system is working well today.

Sorry, we're experiencing technical difficulties and were unable to complete your request.

Ditto - this is starting to become very frustrating. Hyatt should implement a system that SPG has - whereby if there are technical difficulties, there's an alternate site to book reservations (and you get 500 bonus SPG points per reservation)!

HTTP Status 500

I am getting this message when I click links for Hyatt Places in Georgia, Texas, Massachusetts, etc. Sometimes I can get to certain pages logged into my account but most of the time I get this error of an Exception Report and "The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request."

It's very irritating that I have not had this problem until recently and mainly stay at HP because I enjoy the chain. You'd think as modern as the hotels are, that their website would reflect the times rather than act like an old AOL site from 1996.

Can someone please shed some light for me on what is causing this problem and what I can do to fix it? I've actually tried it using Firefox with the same results. One thing I have found, is that if I try a coworker's computer they are able to pull this up. I have deleted and reinstalled Java with no solution. HELP!

But that's the issue... I want to use the website to check dates and availability. I don't feel like calling otherwise I wouldn't bother to go to the trouble of the website. This apparently has been an issue for some time based on the length of this thread - 24 pages over a few years. There has to be an issue and also a solution and I'd like Hyatt to have some type of solution for this.

well I agree that I shouldn't have a problem but it's there. I'd like to see if anyone else who has experienced this has been able to clear it up.
