Looks like it's down again...

Well, it's just after 2p on the East Coast, and the Hyatt site is again giving the all-too-familiar error screen...

Unfortunately, Hyatt just lost out on a reservation. Kept getting errors, so I just went to Marriott and had it booked in two minutes.

Hyatt.com has a box on the front page (front and centre, below the 'possibilities' picture for 'Greatest Movie Ever Sold'... and the link takes you nowhere. Unsurprisingly.

[well, to a Special Offers - GMES page which is blank, except for a Terms and Conditions bar without any Terms or Conditions..]

My little rolling 'ball' - from my Google Chrome Web Browser keeps spinning round and round .. a few times now. I thought it was me, until I came upon this thread about the Hyatt.com issues...

..The server timed out while waiting for the browser's request.

And they still have not fixed it yet? How does Hyatt expect to keep our business?

I was going to book the Park Hyatt Hamburg this weekend but gave up and went with the InterContinental instead.

Website still appears to be down.

Is it just me or Hyatt's website seems to be down a lot? Once or twice it's OK, but I've encountered this way too many times and it's getting annoying.

A lot? I think that it is an understatement.

Hyatt Gold Passport (http://www.hyatt.com/gp/en/index.jsp?language=en) currently has the following message: "The Hyatt Gold Passport system is undergoing maintenance at this time."

The saga continues.

This is pretty ridiculous. I wonder if the customer service line is experiencing issues with the system too. I need to redeem free nights!

Maybe Hyatt could do a promotion opposite of what Starwood used to do with its phone line and website (if Starwood's phone lines were too busy...you could book online and get 500 Starpoints). But for Hyatt...it could be....if our website is down/too-busy/maintenance....please call xxxxxxx and receive 500 points with your booking! ;)

Just imagine all the points we could get! :D
