Oh good point! I had forgotten about that.

Doesn't help me though... but since I'm aware of how it works it should be possible to jump through the requisite hoops (padding nights with CC spend if necessary)

After reading the terms carefully -- you have to do miles earning (not Hyatt Pts) to get the bonus.

Advance reservations required. Guest must request offer code HA5KML at time of reservation or check-in, choose HawaiianMiles as earning preference for their stay and present a valid Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles number at check-in and pay an eligible rate. Guests will earn 1,000 bonus miles per night when paying an eligible rate with a maximum earn potential of 5,000 bonus miles per stay.

Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but unfortunately it's not as good as the last one with AA.

Thanks. I just tried about 20 different combinations of dates at PHNY and couldn't get the 3rd night offer to appear.

I'm able to find availability in August for the PH NYC in the middle of August. 15th-18th

There's also strange thing happening to the room rate when the I look at the price under the promo rates.
The price is $680 / night, but at the confirmation screen the room rate shoots up to $1020 / night (3rd night is free).

If I go to the Member Rate, the room rate doesn't change.

That sounds completely normal. $680 x 3 = $1,020 x 2. First screen shows average rate.

Has Hyatt been doing a promo every fall?
i thought they were running 2 good promos per year with around 1.5k bonus per night?

got a new Hyatt opening in September where I am working and hoping for a good promo.

From the T&Cs ... "Only the room occupied by the Member will count toward this offer. " Of course with Hyatt IT, who knows ?

Never done GoH stays before, so not sure.

Make sure you're targeted for the Centric (by email). Pretty sure that this promo would stack with the others.
