FYI, there's a decent vegetarian & vegan restaurant, Loving Hut, that's a 5-10 minute walk from this hotel. They open for lunch and dinner and so won't help you with breakfast, unfortunately. But it is reasonably priced by Iceland standards.

As others have pointed out, this hotel is popular with overnight stays by big groups (cruise lines, etc.) and is a zoo and unpleasant when the groups are checking in or out.
