Can someone please help me clarify: I just made a reservation for Rome Cavalieri for 4 nights next June 2013 and the agent told me that AXON is not valid.

I was charged 170000 points where as my understanding is 145000.

Am i missing something here or agent was wrong?

What about the option of points & cash, do they offer that option at this particular WA?

So it seems that paying the full amount of points only (170,000) is better than Points & Cash?

Agree.

I booked one room on points and booked another on Cash(400 Euros/night). Agent told me that I can change it to points once I have 170000 points.

That is untrue. You can't change a paid room it to an award room. You can book an award roomONLY if there are still standard award rooms available to book when you have the correct number of points. You CANNOT just convert a paid reservation to an award one. You will have to make a new separate award reservation when you have the points.

If all the standard rooms are gone when you have the 170K points, you will NOT be able to book a standard award even if you are holding a paid reservation. Booking a paid reservation has no bearing on booking an award one.

AXON for multiple rooms?

Hi,

Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before but can you tell me if I can book multiple rooms on the same dates for the same property using AXON? I want to take my wife and our parents on vacation, and am not sure if we can use the AXON rate for multiple rooms.

Thanks.

I don't know if there is a limit but I've had no issues booking two rooms using AXON awards.

Thanks for your responses.

I was looking to book two rooms as well. Wasn't sure if I could do that.

not a problem at all. You can book rooms for other guests at the AXON rate as long as you have the card and the points are coming out of your account.

I was able to spend 1500$ and statement closed yesterday and I got close to 53000 points and my second card spend is also met. This will close on 20th and I should get another 52000 points.

I was able to change the paid reservation to a points one(170000). So, happy ending for me here.
