Q4 Promo: Fast Ways to Free Stays

Can someone help me with my interpretation of this promo?
I have 4 stays coming up, all in Q4.
Stay 1 - 12 nights
Stay 2 - 5 nights
Stay 3 - 5 nights
Stay 4 - 13 nights
So I'll get 3 certs correct?

Correct, given the way the stays are laid out.

Gosh,

Ill be hopping around till the end of the quarter it seems... Good thing I finish my hopping with Marriott for 35k miles on October 15th 8 nights, means I get free or close to free Chrismas/New Years vacation this year.... unless they pop 6 weeks after I complete my stays...

How could you get 35k miles out of 8 nights? The Q3 promotions should give you 10K bonus miles + base miles (1 or 2 miles per dollar). The cap of the promotion is 30k bonus miles.

If your double dip preference is points and miles I'm assuming you still get the airline miles if you select free nights?

I am just playing with the number.

Stay 1 - 1 night
Stay 2 - 1 night
Stay 3 - 1 night
Stay 4 - 14 nights
Stay 5 - 3 nights
Do you get 1 or 2 certs? it depends on whether they reset the number upon you qualifing for a free night cert.

That's what I think. The opt-out list should be finalized once the promotion is out officially. Not sure if the promotion is out officially yet.

From the FAQ, I don't see an exclusion list for redemption. But it's all under capacity control, and you need to book through HHonors Reward Customer Service in advance. So they could have a secret black out list. You never know.

Actually, I take my words back. I am now confused as well.

From FAQ:
Where can HHonors members use their Free Night certificate?
Certificates can be redeemed for use at any of our 3700+ Hilton Worldwide properties, at all brands, however the HHonors member must book their room in advance, make the reservation through Hilton Reservations and Customer Care (HRCC), and complete the stay prior to the certificate expiration.

From fine print on the promotion page:
The free night certificate is valid at participating hotels in the Hilton Worldwide portfolio for 6 months after the date of issuance, as noted on the certificate.

So I am currently in a Hilton Property through 10/6. Do I need to recheckin 10-1 or am I ok. Can't seem to figure this one out in the T&C

Hotel hop all the nights to stays: 12 + 5 + 5 + 13 (+ add one, just one) = 36 / 4 = 9 certs. @:-)
