Now this really bites. Most of the hotels I usually stay at have opted out of this promotion. I doubt I will get many 10 night stays in for a free certificate so I will have to shoot for 4 consecutive nights at one hotel though where i travel, the choice of hotels is extremely limited. I also want to see if the certificate is good at key Hilton properties overseas of if those are opted out as well.

It is bad when every Hilton property in any city is allowed to Opt out. They should make at least one stay in vs. letting whole cities not have a single property that participates.

This promo looks good but make sure you look closely at the Hotel Exclusion list.

At least it is a promo.

I did get lucky, none of the hotels I will be staying at are excluded. Look to get at least 6 certs in Q3.

I was looking at the same thing. It just leaves the airport Hilton, or if you want to go into the city the Hilton in the Financial District or Fisherman's Wharf, right?

I think this promo sucks, at least compared to past ones and the current SPG, in my opinion anyway. I need two more stays to maintain Diamond, so I'll bang those out, but I have 14 different cities I will be in during this promo. If I could get 3 certs it might be worth it, but I can't find anything saying that you can earn more than one.

Does anyone know if you can earn multiple certs?

I would hate to register for that, assume that I am earning 3, and only get 1.

I've recently come back to Hilton, and I can't remember: Does the status of a property (in/out) ever change during the promotion, so one needs to check back before booking? Seems to me that this happened years ago, but I stand to be corrected. Thank you.

# How do our HHonors members earn their Free Night certificate?

For every four stays OR ten nights (whichever comes first) at one of our participating properties, within the promotional period, Hilton HHonors will award the member with a Free Night certificate, which can be used at any Hilton Worldwide property around the world. There is no limit to the number of Free Night certificates a member can earn within the promotional period.

I have 6 stays with 24 nights currently booked. Under the promotion does this mean I'll earn 3 certs or only two (i.e. do I get to double dip my stays AND nights)?
