According to TR's Twitter they were still in negotiations yesterday. Glad to hear something from the other side of the table.

I need to stop checking the founderscard site, but I did notice something odd.

In the past, when I would click on the lifestyle tab on the left side on their site, the first item listed has been always the total reward benefit. I noticed that wasn't the case anymore this afternoon. Does that mean anything, probably not, but strange after all this time it has changed.

Here is the absolut latest, i am on the fence on weather to get the card. If they have the TR benifit i will be ordering this.

Founders sales team just called me about buying A membership and said they are still trying to work out a deal they think they will cut a deal however there WILL BE CHANGES. he could not go into detail but will let me know as soon as they know because i am on the fence with getting the card. I could use the other benifits too however this is the one that will seal the deal.

I noticed that earlier, too. I've seen it listed second, but it's way down there today. Probably just pushing the other benefits since it is the start of the year.

just because we can... I am going to speculate that they will get rid of the "free" Diamond Lounge access in Las Vegas or start charging credits per use of the Diamond Lounge like in Atlantic City.

I have feeling they will be dropping the perk to Platinum instead of diamond. if they do that the benifit is not really worth it. since Plat only offers a few perks.

absolutely agree... not worth it if founders drop it to platinum. might as well just sign up for their own total rewards credit card instead and spend $5k each year to get platinum.

I won't be renewing if they take away Diamond Benefits. I am speculating they might give Platinum benefits which aren't worth it.

TR is known to give away platinum when you get a credit card and other times. so for them its no big deal Diamond on the other hand is a huge perk. so i dont see them keeping it. But if they do the 100 dollar cert. will go away, the no resort fee, and the free tickets a month going away, I dont see them taking the diamond lounge away since its easy to dispute if you have the card. TR has to many casinos to enfource diamond access lounges at one time. so i think that will stay.

Its kind of misleading on their website but for $10k spend a year you get "VIP status" treatment:

• VIP Line Access at participating restaurants
• VIP Line check-in
• VIP Line for taxis and entertainment venues
• Preferred entry into participating Las Vegas nightclubs
• Pool access at all Las Vegas properties

BUT.... your tier status still remains at platinum.

Remember, Rewards Credit are different than Tier Credits. The Total Rewards VISA will help you earn Rewards Credits but will NOT increase your tier status at all. You can spend a million dollars on stuff with the VISA each year but will still remain at platinum tier status.

You can maintain platinum tier status with $5k spend in each calendar year.

Yeah its very misleading iw ould think you would be diamond however they only mention VIP treatment. and i cant imagine there is a VIP card that i never head about from TR since i am a regular there.

Going to throw my final speculation out there: this perk is going nowhere...unless you aren't FC Elite. My guess is that anyone still in an agreement or up for renewal will be grandfathered in for "good will" for a limited amount of time (until they reach Elite thru referrals), but all new members will need to pony up to FC Elite to get Diamond. To be more appealing, Elite will drop in cost. I'd book that bet in Vegas, haha.
