As announced earlier today, the Pass Sanitaire is DEAD as of, probably, sometime next month, which is when the required implementing legislation will be introduced. The old Pass will be replaced, the government said, by a new Pass Vaccinal, which sounds like more-or-less the same thing but without (as the name itself implies) the "test" option. The announcement was short on details. The obvious question is whether we'll all have to pay 36 Euros (or whatever the amount ends up being) for a second conversion or whether there will instead be some sort of automatic (and free) morphing process. Anyway, you can cruise the news sites yourself and make of it all what you will. Good luck with that.
Edit: I guess I should add that boosters will be required for certification -- obviously. |

I just wanted to report that I took my CDC vaccination card to my local French pharmacy to get the Passe Sanitaire and that I had to provide additional info because the handwritten vaccine lot numbers were illegible. I was able to retrieve them online by loggin into “MyChart” via my healthcare provider.
Then, staff was able to issue the Passe Sanitaire. No cost. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. |

Glad it worked for you. With my CDC booster card, I tried several pharmacies. They either didn't know what I was talking about, or didn't know how to do the conversion, or simply didn't want to do it as they were busy. And indeed they were busy with the usual business plus people wanting Antigenic tests. I guess I will just stick with restaurants that know me and don't bother asking for my health pass. And wait to see what the new vaccine pass looks like.

I plan to arrive in Paris from Spain on Monday. I’m Canadian and was vaccinated in Canada (Moderna). I have a Canadian vaccination pass but not the EU one.
Can someone tell me what I’ll need to do in order to be able to go to restaurants, visit the Louvre, etc? Just reading this thread I can’t keep up with what’s the latest. |

Thanks, I didn't know about a list. I googled around and found the site, but could not get the map to display on any browser on my laptop. Then I tried it on my phone and got it to work. I found one pharmacy nearby and will give it a try next week.

Is there any chance we can get into restaurants and venues with a Canadian certificate in place of an official EU one?

For those wondering, as I was, there are white tents in pretty much all the major spots in Paris where you can get your antigen test and QR code. In some places (like by the Arc de Triomphe) you can see 3 or 4 of them at a single glance. The same tents are outside many pharmacies.
The major attractions and restaurants in key locations are checking passes pretty carefully. No one off the beaten path seems to be. We have eaten at plenty of cafes without ever showing a pass. |

Many people tried scanning my Canadian pass and it did not work. Usually when I showed it to them and explained they were still willing to let me pass.
