Any recent data points on whether CDC cards are being accepted in major cities in France (Paris) or is a DCC conversion absolutely required?

My understanding is that if Americans want to update the French digital pass with the date of their booster shots, it's another €36.
Don't know how many boosters we may be getting over the next year. Or maybe an entirely new vaccine updated for the latest variants. |

If I got my equivalent of the Pass Sanitaire in Germany but now need to include my booster, can I do so in France at any pharmacy?

Can anyone confirm this? Fully vaxxed in April 2021, obtained a pass sanitaire in September 2021 online, and boosted in December 2021. Arriving in France on Jan. 15, I assume my pass sanitaire will expire at midnight that day and I will need a new pass? Just go to a pharmacy and pay €36 for a conversion of the updated CDC card that includes the booster shot?

Randomly checked my pass from last year in TousAntiCovid app and it says it’s expired.

Maybe someone will be able to confirm if there is truly a seven month upper limit for the third shot. This would undoubtably restrict for a number of people.

And beginning 15 Feb, the timeframe shortens to 4 months maximum. Example : A person received their 2nd dose on the 1 September 2021. His/her pass sanitaire would no longer be valid as of 15 févr 2022. unless he/she receives a 3rd dose by 15/02. |
The question is—can their pass be "reactivated" by simply getting a third shot? Or do they effectively have to start over from the first?

The phrasing is confusing. At first glance I thought they were saying that your eligibility for a pass is determined by when you get a third dose, but I guess they just referring to the pass itself.
Pass sanitaire |
I had my booster in November and the Tousanticovid app says it expires in June. FWIW.
