Nest! That's the word! I really feel like "seat" doesn't do the new J product justice, but calling it a "suite" would be an exaggeration. A nest, that's exactly what it is! Your own private comfy-spot.
My thoughts exactly.
Ditto. The ”mattress” helps a little even if it is, in reality, as thin as a blanket. But this is something I tried not to think about on my recent SIN flights.

Seems the pro camp wins here…only few nuisances commented, ones with the fart problem and others with the sitting position problem.
Quite well done the choice of the new fart-nest/häkki AY, hope you keep the nest clean of filth and fart!

I've recently flown with some of the crew of Mr Chui's CDG-HEL.
I don't think Mr Chui loved the seat, at least not love at first sight. He is used to and expects higher levels of luxury than what this more `functional' a seat offers. Also he is very extroverted, wanting engagement and chitchat with crew photos at the end of the flight etc., and AY crews are far from the best in that department.

haha, after getting his croissant "and now the tray looks better, hmmm". So the tray service certainly hadn't impressed him, and the added croissant only slightly improved it, but only maybe. Well, it's been enhanced to the limit so yeah.
