Maybe they think wunderbaums pair well with fart cage.

I spent some 28 hours in that seat so I had time to explore...

There's a light in the footwell, and that button operates said light.

Do not disturb. The seat number decal goes red and FAs are supposed not to wake you up for breakfast.

The red donotdisturb light is dangerous. You easily hit it, and then you are out of service accidentally. I wonder how many complaints to come later on for unattentive service due to that light

That might be by sustainability design, need less catering.

The DND light is a nice idea and works well with e.g. with the QSuite on QR. Like you say, on typical AY service the only use for it is often only about the breakfast I'd like to have a "please serve me proactively" light instead

Three-level button with a broccoli defines the need of salads?

DND light might be a good idea, but I miss the old stickers "Wake me up for meals".
Not onboard, but bring them to office and stick on the door to a collegue .

Could we perhaps have a wiki of aircraft registrations with the new cabins (like the BA and QR forums have for their Club Suite and QSuite rollouts) which tracks/updates as more aircraft get refurbished?

So total 3 x A350s and 2 x A330s are done. Pretty good considering a relatively small fleet. Wonder if they’ll still stick to their end of 2023 rollout as since that announcement sh*t has hit the fan with Russian airspace etc…?

Oh that reminds me. The lie flat seatbelt is very annoying. It has "positive tension", like a car seat belt. Which meant that, when you turn to sleep on your side, it is very troublesome and messes with the blanket if you are using it. Depending on how high up or low you sleep, you have it anywhere from the bottom of your butt to your waist.

They should make it like those IFE controllers. You can pull to a certain length and it stops, and like pull a bit more to retract it.

Sorry if it has been asked before. I checked on AeroLopa A350 new config and I did not see any seats that are marked as Economy Comfort. Is Finnair planning to offer Economy Comfort only on its A330?

I’m onboard the new 333 J now and must say that I like this product quite a lot. Much more spacious and private than the previous 359 J. You really can’t see anyone from your own nest.

The screen is good, USB and wireless charging connectivity are well designed, the tray table is better than on the previous 333 and 359 configs and I quite even like the no-recline seat. Resembles how I am used to relax at home in my bed.

However, dining is somewhat cumbersome as the tray table is not in the optimal position when upright. Still, I consider this to be the best J seat in the AY fleet.

I had the new seat on my LHR-HEL flight today (A359). The main downside for me is the thought of having my head lay on the same spot where someone’s backside was, even if on a pillow.
