Hello? Is this AY in 2022 ?
And worse, they seem to have the rules in the know already but not publish them until just first 2.5. Shady…

Does anyone have a pic or video of row 1 on the A330 with the new AirLounge seats?

Plenty of pics of the A350 new cabin online but not much luck with the A330.
Are the foot-wells in row 1 really that much bigger like with the Cirrus or Diamond seats?\
Would really like visual proof, as much as I love you all

Cheers!

Is there a way to find out on which routes the latest C seats will be in place?

actually I wanted to see an exact pic also for the a350. Especially the centre pair and see whether it suffers from the toilet placement problem like on CX

not really helpful, since it only says which routes currently served with the new J class, I want to know this for bookings in the future, lets say December or January, Sometime there are hints in the seat map or stuff like this.

I think these 3 routes that are in the wiki are the ones officially dubbed as routes for the new cabin. What happens on other routes is anyones guess (im sure AY dont know even).
We had one a350 come from HKG without retrofit, which made people here to think cabin updates might be on hold. Or do i remember incorrectly?

You'll need a fortune teller for that. Those three routes are the only ones announced. My guess is that if and when they get more planes, they will announce new destinations for the winter schedule starting late October. But the announcement might not come until late summer or early autumn.

Right now, they seem to assign planes more or less randomly. On my trip last month, HEL-DFW was old J, DFW-HEL happened to be new J.

No, it's the ones confirmed from 11th May by Finnair (today is 9th May). There are currently random changes as we see, and no further confirmed routes have been published AFAIK. The wiki is likely to be among the first places to see it when it happens.

Just saw my August HEL-BKK "upgraded" to the new A359 with the new J Class seats. I have been "Shifted" to 2D and H.

I originally selected 1D and 1H.

I can't find any pics/videos on that first row specifically in this config.

Really wanted to see how bad the toilet facing is. If not that bad I wanted to grab row 1 back again as I much prefer the larger foot well - like the Cirrus seats.

Look here A350 seat map 3Dview: https://www.finnair.com/fi-en/flight.../finnair-fleet

1DH are very close to toilet doors - no good. Already discussed here earlier. 2DH much better.

Thanks. I think mini cabin row 10 will be much better. you get the wider leg well and the toilet on the left hand side opens on the other side so won't be a problem.

And then the plane gets swapped last minute, with no minicabin on the replacement plane and you get whatever happens to be left. Plus you have the screaming babies of Y right behind the thin wall. No thanks.

OMG! you are right!
I didn't realise the mini Cabin is also a SPECIAL variant even for the new J Class.
Maybe I should just stay with 2D/H

Tis is something I realized on the flight I just booked there was no 1A anymore, the window seats started withrow 2.
