Gone back and forth multiple times on both the Finnish and English versions and still fail to find it. Could you post a link to the page that has the "status on hold" thing, please. Not relevant for me personally, I'm just irritated that I can't find it.

So only on logged in page and not a published perk?
I don't get the actual implementation. Pause it set individaully, based on what? Length of leave? Sp if you are off 6 months, you get 6 month pause. How does that help? You still need to accuire 150k points?
Or this "pause" means the membership year resets?
And what does "no perks related to tier points granted during pause" mean?!?

I think they just screwed up updating the benefits in two places, on your logged in profile and then the standard benefits page. There are different wordings on each, for instance they updated the newspaper perk on one and the wifi perk on the other. They really can’t do version management, can they...

Yes, the The tier-point-bonus comes to mind, but the (English) text reads
So how would you earn award points as normal if your tier bonus is voided?
Or are they talking about all tier perks? That would make sense (but is a very bad solution):
Perhaps pause means you are practically basic member during the tier pause. If you do take a flight you'll earn according to the table (ie "as normal"...) but you won't have any status perks what so ever. Fine. Perfect, your tier is extended the same amount of time you where on pause and nothing lost (or gained).
It makes sense if the hold is meant to fit the vanilla parent. Take 6 months off, stay home 100% and no travel whatsoever.
It is a terrible "perk" for modern parents, who has a lot more flexibility and a fuzzy line between in their work/home life balance. Maybe they both take 50% off and share the time between them each week, so no one of them must leave the work force entirely.
Or when one parent cuts back on travel and "extra-curriculum" activities to be able to come home every night but actually does not take any formal leave.
"When your membership status is on hold, you will earn tier and award points normally, but your membership tier will not change. You are not eligible for extra benefits related to tier points during the on-hold period."
