Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.
Do not delete historical posts.

AY doesn't like me. I got hooked and tried to book ARN-HEL-PRG-HEL for 747 SEK, but after I've filled in my personal details, it gives me Yleisvirhe Maybe it's time for me to put the laptop away

I guess AY likes me after all, and even more than I thought. That 747 SEK booking didn't work, but instead, I just booked ARN-HEL-PRG-HEL for 473 SEK Overnight in HEL, morning flight to PRG and back with the evening flight, so there's ample time for a long lunch at Chez Marcel, finished with their excellent tarte tatin.
Of course, I also booked HEL-ARN-HEL, which cost €78.
Now I just have to decide whether to cancel that €179 two-nighter in PRG. I should have remembered your ARN-PRG runs before I made that booking...
Okay, now I'm going to put my laptop away for real. Otherwise I might end up a points millionaire with a big zero in my bank account statement.

A bit off topic but I had the most hilarious conversation with someone on the finnair chat.
I asked about the free transfer of points promo, and they said I had just missed it, but there were "other options" that they could email me about. I of course said yes, and asked if it was for the free transfer. They then said it was for junior points, a promo which had also just expired. Well that's not exactly useful!
Then they kept pressing about sending an email with promo details, to which I said I don't need it if it's just the same info as on the website. They said it's "a bit more than that" (followed by a smiley).*
So I don't know what kinds of mystery promos I'm getting by email soon
*I also asked if there was a way to be notified of these "mystery promos" they don't advertise, or if I should ask them on chat (I was thinking some setting that sends me more emails or something like that). And they replied I should contact them, as they're always happy to help! I suspect this person is bored at work and wants more messages to answer, or, less likely perhaps, there really is some sort of inner circle promos you only gain access to by asking in the chat!

Booked one trip to LHR (not London ). But I shortened the time at LHR since I don't have the Plat card yet. Only one date in October fitted. So sad.

I never got the promo. Maybe because I only book private travel via the AY website - and mostly use airmiles.

The only kind of millionaire I have ever been 😀 Of course this hobby MAY be the reason for that

I like how the 8k promo page says HEL-STO from 109€, but you can easily find RT at 78€...

So, four tickets, approx. €374, a couple of hours in ARN, a day in PRG, three days in TXL and two in OSL. 32000 campaign points, 6564 award&tier points. Not bad.
Now 12:01. OH-LGG, what did you end up doing?

I'm a little surprised actually that AY didn't restrict this campaign to one booking per customer. Perhaps they didn't think that people would make several bookings in one day.

Remember to sign up for the upgrade campaign, too. The link is in the same newsletter as the 8000 points promo, but this is not targeted so everyone can sign up here: https://www.finnair.com/fi/gb/upgrade-competition
I signed up once for every booking made.
Requirements:
- book between 23MAY and 31JUL
- fly between 01SEP and 30NOV
- flights need to be in European economy, AY marketed and AY operated
I'd assume only flights that have J on board qualify since the wording suggests that you won't get two vouchers in your account – the reservation with which you participated will be upgraded and that's it, no choice there.
