I can't tell if he's buying views or buying a lot of advertisement on YouTube. I've never seen an ad for him on YouTube, but have seen a ton on Twitter. MMS I see almost daily on Facebook.

Obviously comparing Mark Zuckerberg and Brian Kelly is inane. Clearly, Brian kelly is Bill Gates and anyone who suggests otherwise is jealous. (And note, Mark Zuckerberg actually lives a far more frugal lifestyle, with a 4 bedroom home in Silicon Valley. He also has a working wife.)
But the answer is above -- he is using them as rental properties. He received a large lumpsum of cash when he sold his site, and is using that money to invest. Add in the fact that he declares Florida as his state of residence and takes advantage of its income tax, gets interest rate deductions on his mortgages, and writes off most of his travel, and its not that hard. He also was not poor to begin with, even prior to selling the website.

That's not the point. The previous poster asked "did someone do the math on how a website could afford homes in X, Y, and Z."
And my response was not meant to compare Zuckerberg to Kelly but merely to point out that websites with high traffic are extremely valuable.

Yes, those numbers make ZERO sense.
TPG has 188m page views over 6 years. I have 25m over 3 years.
He has 1m Facebook likes and I have 4,991 (feel free to like me today and get me over 5,000!).
Something really doesn't seem to add up there :-)
