I don't think this was a TED Talk. It was a "TED Style" talk at the conference. I get the impression that a video of his talk will not be released to the general public. I'm guessing they invite "geniuses" to speak, whereas Brian uses talent agency to get him featured?

Uses his "donation" to the TED conference to get featured.

Serves him right--he's getting destroyed.

EDIT: It's a bloodbath. I don't see him staying on this AMA much longer.

Woody Harrelson can't believe how poorly this is going.

I think that is a fairly typical time frame though.

He says that's more or less the script he read.

Like I said... in no way was that a legit TED talk, it was a "TED style". I'm actually kind of surprised the organizers of TED talks don't make them sign some sort of paper that states they can't go around and tell people they gave a Ted talk. Kind of like a guest lecturer at a university cannot go around and tell people they are a professor.

That script was a complete joke. I'm sure when an audience like that watches someone give a presentation about taking 4 first class international flights on an A380 for $100 they think they are most likely thinking this person is either lying or trying to sell them something.

He flew to a TED event to say all that
Hilarious, seriously, what an AMAZING speech. ROTFL
And all that BS about having COMPLETE control over "his" content.
A Bankrate employee pushing credit cards. 100% control, sure.
Is anyone really buying this cr@p?

Maybe it was also about how to spend $35K to fly on an A380 for 12 hours and still have your bags lost?
