This is kind of exciting as we just moved to the Netherlands (though not Europe) and are finding travel hacking to be much more difficult here than it was in the States. I'm actually going to be hearing one of the presenters speak at the TEDxUTwente event this Friday.

Never attended any event like this before, but it does indeed sound very interesting. I just purchased a ticket for the FTU advanced for this event. Hopefully it will both be a fun and learning experience!

Hey, anybody have the scoop on the social event on Friday evening? Can I invite friends to this, or is there food, etc covered by registration fee? I plan to crash at this guy's place on Friday and it would make me feel less of a doosh [sic] if I could invite him and not just show up at his house at midnight.
