I can assure from experience as well as others in the DL world that DeltaPoints blog does indeed censor comments challenging the factual accuracy of their posts.
The owner even states upthread that they "proudly censor"

You can see the edits (just click on the date to see the edited post). To be fair, DP did not remove his blog from the censor list, he added it to the "does not censor" list (using some mental gymnastics to justify).

I absolutely abhor censorship... indeed I think FT itself does itself a huge, huge dis-service with it's over the top moderation. But this kind of statement is just way over the top, and I'd suggest you retract. Let's put what we are discussing here into perspective please. I don't like DP's blog, I can't stand his lying about censorship being done to protect readers when in fact it's being done to protect his income, but it's not rape.

Er, never said it was "rape" or even equating the two. Just saying that it's just another outrageous behavior. And if it's too non-PC for some, tough. If FT doesn't like it, then censor me

Like I say, speak your mind. I just don't care too much for your distasteful metaphors, and subsequent defending your position. And yes, you did exactly equate the two: "Proudly censoring is like happily raping..." Maybe you don't understand your own words or something

Heh, I owe that part of my vocabulary to a commenter on MileValue (speaking of another "worst practice" blog, not that anyone comes close to DP. )

Ladies & Gentlemen, Dear Kids,
thank you for putting me in a dilemma... how to moderate a thread about censoring. The mod post zapping laser did come out the moment 'non-PC' language was used. But I have refrained from deleting anything (so far) because I think your post content speak more about your character than anything else.

As far as the back and forth editing of the wiki goes, its rather amusing. I could lock the wiki and accept edit requests, but certainly there are better uses of everyone's energy?

Happy Holidays and regards

Happy Holiday Oliver2002 and good call on the moderating. I think you are right this is just an entertainment thread at this point, exclusively read by the "inside baseball" crowd

Thank you for moderating best (by moderating least! ). The ability to view who what makes what changes renders the wiki games both interesting and amusing. ^

Posse in Effect!
