I was censored from DL's own SM blog...not for being profane - at least, not to the rest of the world - not for abusing other posters, but for describing DL SM, in their own words , verbatim, as published many times...
...You know.
:-: best in class :-:
For some reason this phrase - even though it was their own propaganda to be begin with - sends their censors into an absolute frenzy. Jeff hates this, and critics of SM obtain a micro-victory every time they write it.

@ Retailshark I actually haven't had to censor yet, but I will, if I have to. Like I said: profanity, attack on my personal appearance, misogyny comments and so forth will not be tolerated. But I don't plan to censor constructive criticism of my blog or writing style. I think it's a fine line and very much in the eye of the beholder. What may not seem offensive to you, might seem inappropriate to the blogger. But as someone, who got censored in the blog comments section (not for profanity, lol), I understand, why its upsetting to you.

@ Astrophsx I did, very shortly before I started my blog. I think I only made a few comments. Can't remember exactly what it was. Wasn't sure how to change it to my blog name, so just got another username. Hope it's not against the rules. I was a lurker for 10 years though.

@Astrophsx I had the other name for literally 3 days, I think. I can't even remember what it was, to be honest. But feel free to report me, it's all good. I'm not trying to be above any rules. In fact I'm a rule follower.

For any bloggers following along, FlyerTalk rules require that you have just one handle. We have a process for changing handles once during your years on FlyerTalk. Send your request to IBPark. She will make the change and put your former handle under your new one for a period of time that relates to your number of posts. That way you have these benefits:
Carol
Community Director
- retain your start date on FlyerTalk
- bring your reputation along from your initial handle

Point Me to the Plane
I posted a comment on this post: http://boardingarea.com/pointmetothe...meridien-nice/
I posted a comment asking why they used screen shots of professional photos when doing a trip report and also noted that the posted photos have data that suggests that they are not recent personal photos (1-2 years old). The comment was censored.
Update:
Comment was posted after a response could be given. Blogger stated that his camera got ruined during the trip and used old and professional photos for reference.

I have a full-time job and do take some personal time on weekends as well. You posted late on a Saturday night and I was traveling internationally again today. Responding to your post was not my first priority, I apologize. Additionally, the pictures are from my personal stay and i've responded to your comment on the blog. My regular readers already know the circumstances from my past posts including one on this property.
Again, I think giving a blog at least 24 hours to approve a post (these are done manually) would be appropriate going forward.
