I am 14.5, according to milesmuncher and mr. pickles. If I, a hormonal teen can deal with all of this hatred and vitirol, so can you. Censorship achieves no goal except alleviating your short-term anxiety. Create an environment where everyone can learn and maximize their redemptions, and you will have readers. Create the very best content you can and be open-minded to feedback, and you will be fine.

Yes, you are correct, and he used some lame excuse about how he had found the deal in the first place and the blogger's perennial excuse of ' oh but it would have been out without my posting anyways, so I did not do anything wrong by posting it on my blog'

I openly welcome constructive feedback on how I can improve my writing. If you think you have something good to contribute, feel free to post here or send me a pm/email.
How exactly is it a perennial excuse? As mentioned several times in the few other times I was attacked, I believed that the glitch would go public. In hindsight that was not the case and I sincerely apologize for that. Not everyone can correctly predict the future, as you can see with the UA spending requirements implemented today.
But I did ask via PM for the permission to post from the people who discovered the extra space. You don't even have the right to say that I was wrong. Did you discover the glitch? No. Do you run my blog? No.
I strive to have the strongest non-censorship and disclosure policies of ALL THE BLOGS HERE. Here are the PM's for your reference. I did not "MAKE" them up.
EDIT: FT ToS does not allow me to publish PM's. PM if you want to see details.
Again, did they say yes? It's not even an issue of theirs as its my blog, but had they said no, please don't do this, then the post wouldn't have gone up. Their concerns was that had was that the space was going to go. And look what happened...

Is there a direct cause and effect between blogs publishing deals and those deals being killed? No. So killing and stealing deals are not only strong words, but they are incorrectly used in here.

That's exactly the same argument the cigarette industry used for half of the century to deny that smoking causes cancer: "There is no proof."

Am I stealing/killing deals? No.
Do my posts raise the likelihood of the fare being removed by the airline/hotel? Maybe.
So if you would like to refer to what I'm doing, you can say that I increase the chances of the fare being discovered. I do not steal or kill deals.

Ladies & Gentlemen, dear kids,
as you know the P in PM stands for 'private', that is as per FT TOS you shouldn't publish a PM. More about this can be found here: http://www.flyertalk.com/help/rules.php#q84
Post edited/redacted accordingly.

Pray tell what are the places where we can talk about 'which Flyertalk forums censor comments?'
That's a rhetorical question, there aren't any places, right? Because Flyertalk censors comments.
So be it, we don't have to like it, and we can still criticize bloggers for the same thing.
But it is hypocritical. It's hypocritical of Flyertalk to host a forum for bashing blogs [let's face it, that's what it is.. except that it's also a forum for bashing the other 'external resources' like TOBB too] when Flyertalk suffers from the same defects we bash these blogs for.
Internet Brands owns the original credit card affiliate link pimping blog. Flyertalk censors comments. Internet Brands produced embarassingly bad travel articles meant to spoonfeed the masses for clicks and views.
It's also hypocritical of folks frequenting this forum to criticize blogs and not Flyertalk for these failings.
And I should say, I *do* criticize blogs for them. This isn't meant as a defense of bad practices. It's a defense of rigorously applying our critiques (or shutting up).

TheMrPickles.com unpublished a valid comment of mine today. The author in question called a prior comment of mine as a word that could be considered profanity, and I quoted that remark in a much larger response.
The author has since deleted his response and as such, deleted my entire comment off the comments page. Thus, the blog should be moved from the "Does Not Censor" to the "Censors" list.
I can provide a screenshot for anyone interested.

In addition, it was getting heated so I also locked down any further comments until I could get to a computer and properly review. The lockdown has since been removed also. The site is not a "free for all", the comments section is for discussion of the article or post all other communication should be sent by email or PM. Terms of use are clearly posted. I have a responsibility to maintain some sense of decorum, and posts that are released are not censored or changed in any way.

Good luck with that slippery slope. No matter how you want to spin it, it's still censorship. Not the first time you've done it either. I can attest. Oh, and I'll be happy to edit the wiki to add your blog back to the censor list. Nice try to "redact" it though!
