Here are the PM's for your reference. I did not "MAKE" them up.
EDIT: FT ToS does not allow me to publish PM's. PM if you want to see details.
Again, did they say yes? It's not even an issue of theirs as its my blog, but had they said no, please don't do this, then the post wouldn't have gone up. Their concerns was that had was that the space was going to go.

Most forum posters write with about a second grade grammar level unfortunately. Bloggers are almost as bad. I too have no clue what in the world he is trying to say!

Data point:
Points, miles and Martinis was encouraging his readers to get the US Air card with 30k miles and annual fee. I posted a comment saying that he should be ashamed of himself for promoting an inferior offer when there is a 35k no first yr. fee card easily available but it was censored. Guess we know which blogger is not getting my referral money.

I can understand deleting Spam, or if a person's first comment gets accidentally caught in a spam filter, but you actively unpublished a comment of mine for more than 24 hours. That's censorship.

The Points Guy - when a commenter said they drove 5 hours roundtrip to visit a chase branch for a united personal card, my comment linking to the united personal offer thread got moderated out twice. Not sure if they just don't like links in comments or what. I was pointing out that heading to a branch for the offer is unnecessary, contrary to the article.

I've written many times about the targeted United 55k+ offer- it was even a part of my last round of applications. However, it is targeted and the link to that Flyertalk is useless for someone who isn't targeted for the offer.
The Chase branch tip (which clearly isn't my referral link) was just a tip for people who were not targeted for the 55k, but still wanted it since anyone can go into a Chase branch and get that offer.

I don't approve comments- they post instantly, so if you never saw it post, it's likely it got flagged as SPAM. Posting it again would likely have the same effect.
