I know airplanes have rows where a window may be missing, but usually in J class there are two, so that if one is missing there remains the other one. Does 7K have *no* window, or does it just have one, but not two? Interestingly, seatguru.com doesn't mention a lack of windows at 7K.
It really has no window.

Thanks.

It looks like the older configurations had a lav there, the lav probably didn't have window(s), and I guess they didn't (couldn't?) carve one out when they put a seat there. For now, I've decided to go with 6A.

Hello, I am new to the forum. I am flying on EVA's 777 on BR6 on the 30th of this month. If things go as planned, it should be Sanrio Family, which I have read on the first post on this thread is 77M. What are the main differences between 77A, 77N, and 7M? Thanks.

Hello there, newbie here to EVA Air....booking a flight from LAX-TPE in December on BR11...any recommendations on a good economy seat, I will be solo....might try to upgrade to PE is available and not too much, but more than likely will just go with economy since I am using UA miles from a credit card bonus, so in a sense the flight is $5.50 in fees....any help would be appreciated....

EVA is good quality in my experience. PE is 100% worth it if you can afford it or have the miles. The food is also better. I slept 6 hours from Seattle-TPE in PE.

As for economy and where to sit, I would first check to see if your route is the 9 across or 10 across. The beginning of this thread has that information.

I think it should be on a 77M , the flight map on EVA site shows it as 3-3-3...also want to know if those "entertainment" boxes will be in the way under seats...

I've just booked myself a trip LHR-BKK...it's my first time in RL and I'm usually on here complaining about cattle class. 11K was the only solo seat available, but SeatGuru gives it a yellow rating. Any thoughts? The flight is a month out and I don't know if other seats are likely open up closer to the date or not. DG of 7, 10, and 11 are also available.

On my flight we sat in the forward part of the RL cabin and found that after the initial beverage service the flight attendants were all congregated in the galley between rows 7 and 8 for meal service and the duration of the flight. The bathroom between 6A and 8A was also much larger than the others so it always had someone in it. I would personally avoid row 7, especially 7D, to stay away from the commotion, lights and noise. It's odd that row 11 is only yellow on 1 of the 4 cabin layouts on Seat Guru despite the fact that it borders PE in all configurations. In row 11 you shouldn't have anyone walk past your seat after boarding is completed but you would be closer to any noise coming from PE.

I guess the real concern for row 11 is the possibility of a crying baby, but it's a risk I think I'm willing to take.

What are people's views about RL seat 9G on LHR-BKK? At the moment the entire of the front RL cabin is showing everything blocked out? Is this normal (for a flight almost 3 weeks out)? I should add that I'm aware of the bassinet issue in 8K (and I hate noisy babies in biz class particularly on night flights when you're trying to sleep) but the only seats available were 9G/8D/8G/10G/11D/11G. Is it likely that a seat opens up in the front RL cabin between now and flight day?

Why don't you give EVA a call? I have got seats by calling them while I cannot see them online.

Blocked Economy Seats - When are these released?

I've read through different threads about blocked RL and Elite class seats (e.g., first row of each cabin), but I was wondering about blocked economy class seats.

Specifically, my friend and I would like to select 73AC or HK as those are two-seat offerings. We don't mind disembarking last as we're transiting TPE.

I sent a direct message to BR ticketing and also called the reservations #. The agent said that they see what the customer sees and can't select it for us.

I've set up an EF seat alert, but in general, when might these rear seats open up? T-24 hours, I can see, but does BR still do T-100 days? Or perhaps if I had a higher IML status or purchased economy plus fares? The flight is in April 2020.

Thanks for any experience or insight you can provide.

TTC192Rocket. Are you a Staralliance gold or elite member? Even Silver is allowed free seat selection. Yes I suppose if 72AC are already booked then it may be a problem.

I'm a Star Alliance silver. Selecting seats isn't an issue. We have our second-choice seats. It's just that we want to sit in 73AC or HK. It shows as "X" on ET, and not coloured a solid blue, so it leads me to think that it's simply blocked as of now.

As far as I can tell, these seats aren't designated as crew rests, but I may be wrong.
