So, it seems Emirates still flat out refuse refunds even though they cancelled the itinerary? I, just as a formality, filled in the online refunds form, requesting a full refund of my itinerary after they cancelled the ticket - I got a confirmation email and of course nothing else.

Wondering how long to wait before attempting a credit card dispute with the evidence that they cancelled and haven't refunded.

Open one asap

I have no doubt that Emirates is monitoring this forum. My wife and I (long time EK customers skywards 4xxxxxxxx and 5xxxxxxxx) want to advise EK (for what it is worth) that we not be using EK in the future as a result of their policies re cancelled flights and refunds.
We prepaid for a service that the service provider is unable to provide (flight was cancelled in our case). This in anyone 's language entitles customer to a full refund. We were offered a refund minus a hefty charge for "cancellation".

are you able to mention (even if its approx) the refund fee

If you've got something to say, just bloody say it.

This "I know more than you 'cos my girlfriend works for EK" is getting tedious.

It's not coming from her, genius.

No it's probably coming from her BFF.

Emirates have just announced a limited number of repatriation flights for people in UAE. More details from Emirates later.

Operating from Terminal 1?

Just guessing and to complete IFMTY's "hints", that they may board and deplane (if arrivals become part of the program) these "temporary" flights through Terminal 1 as a means of keeping terminal 3 "clean and sterile" until the "actual" resumption of "normal" flights?

My girlfriend's bff () said flights depart from T2

Some of you really need to take things easy.

cargueiro Apr 2, 2020 7:18 am

FZ has been operating some flights recently. Pax and cargo outbound and cargo only on return to DXB. Mainly seems to be deportees as UAE gets rid of the unwanted.

Longton Apr 2, 2020 8:02 am

BA Humbug,

You must have a fantastic memory to recall all those flight details from just reading a document!
