Notably, the new F cabin is fully enclosed from floor to ceiling, has a reduction from 8 seats to 6 total, had virtual windows for the center cabins and features video-based room service ordering.

You realize a lot of the content published on that blog and others is sourced from FT right? (sometimes without attribution.) They'll read it here often, and confirm it with PR reps or an article, and cite that. But either way, if you're not tied in directly to the airline itself, FT remains a far better source for info IMO.

We're going off topic a bit here, but a lot of stuff OMAAT posts is poorly interpreted and misrepresented, though somewhat correct, a lot of it is entirely correct, almost none of it is exclusive or first posted there. It's a great aggregator, and a website I read daily, but they don't have some sort of inside scoop for most of their stories (they do occasionally it appears), and virtually every "article" is a rip-off from another site, usually TPG (*vomit*) or VFTW. Add to this the constant repetition with the 4-paragraph intros recapping the article on the same topic written the day before and it makes for painful reading sometimes, I honestly don't know why I keep going back to read it, it annoys me but equally as I said, it's a great aggregator (like the FT homepage but that's got such a terrible interface I stopped using it)

I hundred percent agree, and I don’t want to get that off topic. But my point is they are not in the business of disseminating false information. And when they do they almost always correct it. In fact this is the first instance I have ever seen in reading the blog in five years of getting wrong information, and them not correcting it or putting out another post saying how things have changed.
As a small correction, they're in the business of getting page views and eyeballs, and that traffic they attempt to monetize in various ways. While I agree in general that successful monetization shouldn't (hopefully doesn't) mean posting inaccurate info leads to making money, having a successful blog is by no means proof that posting inaccurate info is a BAD business model, either. Gossip columns everywhere and TMZ have very successful franchises doing this.
And just for the record I enjoy the blog! But my heart is still with FT.

Back to the topic of this thread, I booked MUC-DXB for December in paid F, so I could try out the new F. I just checked the seat map again and noticed it’s swtiched back to the old 8 seat F.
Any chance that MUC will switch back to the new 77W for the winter? Do I have any legit complaint to get switched to FRA-DXB instead?
I know booking so far in advance there’s always the risk of aircraft change, but I thought it would stick as they announced MUC as getting the new F.

Yea let’s hope. What do you think the chances of them changing it back to MUC? Would they let me change back again to MUC-DXB if that happens?

I just called Emirates Germany and asked if they could change my flight from München to Frankfurt so I get the new First Class. I told them I booked the München Flight just because of the new First Class. Emirates said, I could change the flight to Frankfurt, but it would cost 400 Euro.
