Information on Load requests
The number of seats for sale for a flight are available via ExpertFlyer.com, a subscription-based service with a 5-day free trial. A subscription is $9.99/month and can be enabled and disabled any time. It is encouraged to subscribe rather than post repeatedly in this thread.
NB: Op-up changes or overselling of a flight cannot be determined with certainty from this information, only inferred to be more or less probable.
For a once-off load request please follow these guidelines:
Flight loads >7 days out are not very useful, as the airline could still sell many seats, unless availability of a specific fare bucket (e.g. Business Saver upgrade) is requested. If you wish to know the general flight load please don't post >7 days before departure.
When requesting a load please provide the following information:
- Date of flight (departure date)
- Flight Number
- Origin
- Destination
These four fields are mandatory in searching on ExpertFlyer (see screenshot below) and it isn't fair to except those who pay for their subscriptions to also have to go look up which cities a specific flight number is from and to (also some flight numbers are onward flights (5th freedom routes, e.g. CMB-MLE) and loads will differ significantly depending on which sector of the flight is checked.

Just in case you're going to ask for a LC request, EF currently has this message:
The Emirates Award search is temporarily unavailable. We are working with the data provider to fix the issue and expect the search to be restored in the next couple days. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
General availability is still there, but there is no award notice working apparently.

Snagged one of the last Y Flex fares on EK419/157 next Sunday, hoping for an op-up. Still a bit out with SYD-BKK Y9, BKK-DXB Y3, DXB-ARN Y0. Fingers crossed

EK036 17/03 & EK376 18/03 - Load Request
Hi Guys,
I am flying to following two sectors:
EK036 - NCL-DXB - 17/03
EK376 - DXB-BKK - 18/03
Does anyone have detailed access to the loads....?
Have been offered a cash or miles upgrade on the latter however wanted to see the loads to see if worth holding out for an op-up (Silver, Economy Flex)
Have been upgraded on 3 sectors (check in and gate) on same route in past 12 months.
Thanks

The P7 on EK 376 is where (as far as I understand) the email upgrade offers come from...

Hey Killa,
leading on to my comments on your other thread, and thanks to thijsseh for providing the loads, you can see that it appears they're only selling Flex on this route now, but quite a few still with M9 B9. Whether it's oversold and if so by how much, and in that case where a Silver on a Flex would rank is anyone's guess.
Op-up sequence is:
- All Plats, ordered by fare type
- Flex Plus, ordered by status, Gold to none
- Flex, ordered by status
- Saver, ordered by status
We don't know if they exclude certain fares like Specials, and whether they order within status by fare bucket, or first by fare bucket then by status.

Please see the Wiki and provide the origin and destination airport for the flight. Also if you search for an F Saver Award on the EK website (i.e. outright redemption for an F award) that is the same availability as J>F upgrade I believe

No F Upgrade available, that being said, you've got a booking, can't you just check on the Emirates app or MMB if you go to the Upgrade Flights section of your booking? No need for a load check on EF. There are 3 unassigned seats in F on EK9 tomorrow
