Fare changes 2015

In most places it's now the 2nd & nothing appears to have changed. I'm wondering if I book a flight today, will it still be covered by the old rules?
Once the changes do take effect, I intend to ditch the MBNA Skywards Elite credit card & replace it with the MBNA Etihad Guest credit card. Anyone got both these cards? I've only had the Elite since November & I'm afraid it wont look too good, if I apply for another MBNA card, so soon after receiving the Elite card. Hence my temptation to book a last flight on EK.

1. My yearly spend is very high and hence I earn a lot of miles with EK.
2. Emirates spend is 4 miles per 1 spent
3. 10% off Emirates Holiday
4. Business class check-in
If they take, (2), (3) and (4) away from me I will ditch the card.
They may accept you, but likely they will reduce your limit on your EK card. But you should wait for 6 months after card opened.

Flying to BKK & return this month so, I'll try & burn most of my remaining miles.
I've wondered about that too. If so, I would book one last return flight with them, as an additional opportunity to burn my remaining miles. Failing that, I guess I'll be taking a few short trips on EasyJet.

No changes to air fares yet on booking page?
Thought it was rolling out Feb - or as someone else said could they be waiting for the end of the month?

I'm just cheesed off that I made a couple of bookings last Saturday, including one outside the (then) current bookable dates, to get them in before the changes.
I could potentially have taken my time and saved some money if things had been clear.

Yes, I spoke to a guy this morning to change a flight, and he said he'd had his training last Friday and was among the last group to be trained. He had expected the same start date as us, but only because he's also a Skywards member and had read the website. He hadn't been told a start date as an employee, and still doesn't know a definite date - just this month sometime.
He did indicate that there were now better miles earning opportunities, but didn't seem impressed when I pointed out it was probably only going to be true if you paid significantly more.
One thing he mentioned that I hadn't picked up on was the new lower levels of miles equate to 25%, 35% and 70% of those earned before. I don't know if that's across the board, or an average or what.
