Are there plans for them to introduce PE on the 777s?

Yes, but the work won't start until the A380s are finished next year.

A6-EGH

Does anyone know why B77W A6-EGH was stuck in MIA for almost 3 months? From what I can see, it operated EK213 DXB-MIA on the 13th April 2023 and only yesterday, the 11th July, it ferried back to DXB as EK2696…

the plane was hit by another plane. There was damage to the vertical stabilizer.

Thank you for the very detailed spreadsheet!
It is very impressive!

How do we tell which plane is used on a particular route?
is there a website that lists those?

Thanks

For sub-fleets, like A380s with PE, B77Ls and GameChanger 77Ws, I have the destinations listed in the 'Config - A380' and 'Config - B777' sheets.

For any other routes, you can use FlightRadar24 to check.

Thank you! This is such an incredible resource, we are all very lucky with your efforts in creating and maintaining it.
Much appreciated! :)

Are there any issues with the 2 class A380s at the moment? Only 5 of them appear to be in use, and mainly to DUS, BHX, DPS and MRU.

MAN is normally 1 x 3-class and 2 x 2-class, but consistently all 3 class at the moment. I've got a couple of flights in March that I've booked the upper deck Y seats... I'd hate to get moved downstairs :D

That`s true, only 5 flying at moment, EOP, EOX, EUQ, EUY and EVB....mainly to MAN, BHX, DUS, MRU and DPS.
The situation of the remaining 10 frames:
EUO: MX in TLS
EUX: MX in CAN
EUZ: Stored in DWC
EOQ, EOR, EOS, EOY, EUN, EUP and EVA: MX in DXB

I don't see any MAN flights so far this year.

EUM is the only 'LR' configured A380 in the entire RR-powered subfleet, and it was originally configured in 14F/76J/429Y. It does not have a crew rest area, hence the 3 extra Y class seats.

EUM returned to service this morning, operating DXB-SIN (EK354), which is a PE route. I checked the seat map on EF, and it shows 14F/76J/56W/341Y, which is a new layout with 3 extra Y seats (52A, 52B, 52C) that EK will presumably use going forward on non-ULR A380s that are to be retrofitted with PE.

I hadn't listed EUM on the retrofit sheet because I wasn't sure of it, until now, but the doc has been updated to reflect this new information. EUI, which is also in for retrofit should also return to service in the next few days. Bringing the total number of PE fitted frames to 28.

These 341Y frames will primarily be flying SIN, MAN, and ZRH sectors this year when the latter two get premium economy.

One that Prospero may be interested in for his Aerolopa site.
