Here is the list of 77W leaving in 2020 in the following:

A6-EBB - Due to leave in March 2020
A6-EBC - Due to leave in April 2020
A6-EBE - Due to leave in August 2020
A6-EBG - Due to leave in November 2020
A6-EBI - Due to leave in December 2020
A6-EBJ - Due to leave in end of December 2020

2021 TBA:
A6-EBQ - EBW leaving in end of FY2020 and 2021 will ALSO see A6-ECx and EGx began retirement as well. Planes that are build prior to A6-EGP will be retired. No confirmation yet regarding the 2021 fleet plan but all I know is the last remaining A6-EBx (Except A6-EBY) is retiring in 2021.

A6-EBQ
A6-ECM

Returned from storage? Those old frames? And conceivably no flights before 1 July? The mind boggles.
Maybe they have been ‘modified’ to cargo only? Not sure that is even possible.

A6-EBB and EBC now declared withdrawn from fleet. 4 more 77W is supposed to be the next one and we know that all EK fleet is grounded till end of May. EBE due to withdrawn in June, but I think that fleet will not even return to service and will likely be withdrawn now.

Have Emirates cancelled the A330neo order?

A380 A6-EDB seems to be the first A380 to leave Emirates fleet....she is in all white livery outside EK maintenance area in DXB.
She was scheduled to leave in September anyway, but Covid-19 changed everything.

Sad news indeed. Have fond memories of this bird. Had my first A380 flight ever on it during EK's second ever A380 rotation flight from DXB to SYD two days after inaugural in early Feb 2009. Departure in DXB was delayed for three hrs after front steering broke down while taxiing to the active. Was towed back into stand, no deplaning while waiting for the fix. Didn't bother, as being in First Class, more time to down another bottle of Dom in the meantime in 3A :p . My first ever shower experience on FL360 during landfall over Australia. Bliss.

I had similar on a flight back to AMS. Only 2 of us in F, and the other guy was fast asleep during the 2 hour tech delay. It was in the days of the P2 in F, so I'd had a bottle before pushback! What a great flight that was.

Trying to get a top-up on BA before take off gets you rolled-eyes (if they've actually got any left).

Hello there!
I am departing to Dubai from Prague in Czech Republic. And it looks like I will be flying on 777er A6-ECO. Could you please tell me if it has been refurbished and have big HD ICE screens (those with remotes with screens)?

Thanks!

Does anyone know if the newer B77W aircrafts with the game changer F class are being operated on PAX flights? if so, what destinations?

Cheers

You can look up the recent flight histories by registration. It's all frames from A6-EQH onwards

They've flown to many destinations that they don't normally fly to, but they seem to be regulars on:

EK7/8 (LHR)
EK75/76 (CDG)
EK89/90 (GVA)
EK45/46 (FRA)
EK127/128 (VIE)
EK183/184 (BRU)
EK354/355 (SIN)
EK201/202 (JFK)

However, there have been some exceptions in the past few weeks. No guarantees that there will be a game-changer 77W on the specific date that you fly.

I'm looking for EK45/46 for a trip around Christmas, but it seems to be gone. Same with EK 127/128 from VIE and EK 183/184 from BRU. Only A380s.

Agree with IFlyMoreThanYou. It is far too early to tell what will be happening at Christmas time. The entire situation can and likely will be quite different so I would not make bookings relying on current information
