AEGEAN (A3) to launch daily Larnaca – Tel Aviv direct flights
Flights will commence 29/03 but haven't seen any details of schedule yet.

It will be interesting to see where else A3 flies from there and if there can be any good connections to Europe. I often see strange ticket options for A3 when booking online which involve A3 and two stops to get to TLV. They're often cheap but with odd routings.

A look at the TLV-LCA route
With CY gone, the situation re the LCA route at the moment is looking pretty sad...
CY used to fly twice daily and it was very easy doing a one day trip for work flying out early in the morning (arriving around 8am) and leaving late at night.
that option is no longer...
For the winter schedule, IZ are flying 4 times weekly leaving at 10:10 arriving 11:00-11:30 (depending on aircraft, with the ATR being painfully slow compared than the E90) and LY 3 times.
Mon.Tue, Wed there is just one flight out to LCA, and if you want to/need to fly out on friday you're out of luck.
Things look better for the summer schedule once A3 join the party as they will be flying daily at 7am, which is essentially what CY used to do , so for a day trip you could fly out with them and return with LY/UP at 18:15 (nowhere near as good as the 22:00/23:00 CY used to offer but better than nothing!)
LY also increase frequency to one daily flight from the summer schedule, and IZ remain with 4 weekly and just one flight using an E90, so the rest will be done with an ATR which as mentioned above ads 25 minutes to this short flight.
Can't see any schedule of IZ to FCO though...

You're right! Initially when I looked at the LCA-LHR sector I saw 12:30 but thought it was pm not am (even though that would make no sense because with a 7am TLV departure the aircraft would obviously be coming in earlier...).
