My favourite Thursday evening TLV->BUD flight is gone from schedule as well.

By the way, my December TLV->BUD was shifted to another day without any notice. Without this thread I would have surely missed it.
Flew back from WAW yesterday on Wizz and the flight was entirely Israeli. This may be due to start of school year on Sunday/monday and also since the route is now cancelled as of sep. 2nd so Polish citizens are not flying it outbound at this point since they would need a different airline to get back.

Kenya Airways to serve TLV

Kenya Airways will start serving TLV from Nairobi in December. Three weekly flights on a 737-800 are planned. More info (in Hebrew) here:

Great news! Just perfect for my spring trip to Madagascar! But nothing on their website... not bookable and no announcement...

Ethiopian Airlines

ET will be adding no less than 9 (!) weekly flights between TLV and ADD brining the number of weekly flights from 5 to 14.

Didn't they at one point operate the 788 to TLV?

I flew them recently and the cabin was modern, clean and comfortable. they've gone through a real transformation over the last few years, modernized fleet, higher standards, and improved connections. Both globally and domestically.
Ethiopian is quite a feasible option..
