Great topic. Keep them coming.
Just discovered Hot to Trot in the past couple of weeks -- def worth the money IMO (and it is on sale this week in the Twin Cities for $7-something at MGM). 2010 is what I've been sampling. Haven't yet tried Coppola Rosso but will place it on the list.

Are any of the "reds" in the Bota Box family worth a try? My DW says their Chard is "OK".

Haven't sampled any Bota Box wines.

However, we're currently enjoying Concannon's 2010 Crimson & Cloves, Livermore Valley, on sale for $7.50 in my area.

Well, I've never heard of any of them, but that certainly means absolutely nothing. 120 seems like a small sample size for a 'best of' list

Just got a couple bottles of Trader Joe's Petit Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 and very impressed. I think it was 9.99 in Roswell, GA but may have been 8.99.

Speaking of Spain, I recommend Bodegas Breca Garnacha de Fuego 2011, which I can buy in our area for $7-8 a bottle.

Others agree.

Yes, I'm quite partial to that particular bottle. Occasionally, they have it on sale at Tesco.

My recommendation? Toscana Rosso from Aldi at £3.99. Lighter than the Wolfblass and very reliable. For US readers, Aldi in the UK is closer to Trader Joes (oddly enough, owned by one of the Aldis) than Aldi stores you may have seen in the US (I think the Aldi I saw in Wichita was next to a trailer park for a reason).
