I am going to try my hand at Chipotle Pulled Pork (cooked in a crockpot). A friend said it is super easy to make and turns out delicious. I bought a 6lb pork shoulder at the store yesterday along with the remaining ingredients (except the chipotles in Adobo sauce).

Bread, water... Times are rough

Taco salads at church tonight (guy that cooks will make some grilled chicken just for me and my mom, everyone else will have ground beef). Best $3 meal around - cheaper than bread and water.:p

My preferred at home bachelor meal:

- One third a box of Kroger brand pasta
- Ragu
- Garlic Salt
- Two slices of toast.

I have a real thing for this meal, and I love pasta on toast (don't ask where I came up with that). It's cheap and it's easy and suits the cheapskate living alone with simple tastes.

Bah, I haven't decided tonight's dinner, but last night was gnocchi in a garlic tomato sauce with vegetables and some grilled parma ham on top. Parma ham is lovely grilled as it crisps up straight away.

Tonight, bratwurst on the grill, plus I have a dozen colossal shrimp left (uncooked) from last night's dinner - these will be placed on 2 skewers for as appetizers for the Mrs. & me. I may grill some zucchini as well.

You want to go where? Jun 8, 2012 6:22 am

Saltimbocca alla romana, English peas (with a little sauteed onion), a green salad, and strawberries with a little balsamico for dessert.

Whatever my wife decides we are having!

Chicken Divan - chicken, broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, lemon juice, curry powder, milk and bread crumbs baked in a casserole. Served over rice.

Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. :)

I'm on my way to Austin for the weekend, staying with a friend who loves food as much as I do and always picks a good restaurant.

Might be doing second dinner after a night of drinking too...Waffle House, perhaps? :D

Hot wings from my local pub while playing billiards. Sometimes (most times), simple is better.

Sounds good. They are 25 cents a wing at my local watering hole on Sundays. Sadly, I'm in Paris right now and can't partake. ;)

Homemade tacos made as close as humanly possible to Jimboys original beef tacos.
