I smoked, over applewood and hickory, spare ribs, short ribs, chicken, and sausage. Hybrid Memphis style (dry rub smoked for the first 3 hours) and Kansas City style (my homemade barbecue sauce after that for the next 3-6 hours.

Accompanied by barbecue beans, homemade cornbread, biscuits, and apple crisp. There was a salad in there too somewhere.

Ham biscuits and sushi.

Sort of fusion.

Had to find this thread as I have taken up Italian cooking. Tonight, I'll be making chicken piccata. Last week, I made veal marsala which was so easy and so utterly delicious. Giada's Everyday Italian cookbook makes it simple. Yum!

Jack's 99 cent store has these terrific curry sauces (Tiger, imported from the UK) selling for, yep, 99 cents - sort of like Hamburger Helper - but really delicious - make some chicken with that and some rice, and there you go. :D

Chicken soup, very boring but I am recovering from a pesky cold.

Two very thin sirloin strips cooked absolutely plain, then seasoned on my plate. My ex will take custody of the cats on Friday and if they want a sliver of steak tonight, they'll get it.

Gotta love Jacks. Just bought toothpicks and a coffee scoop each for 99¢. :)

Are there places near you that make chicken in the pot? We always called it Jewish penicillin. The BEST for colds. Feel better soon.

Thanks for the tip, I just looked this up and there are a couple of places close by that have this on the menu. It's going to be lunch tomorrow for sure!
