You've probably seen chocolate hummus in the store too. I can not and will not bring myself to ever buy either of these. If I'm going to have dessert, then I'll have it, not some weird mash up. Not judging anyone else, but I just find it all weird.

ive not seen chocolate hummus but I think there’s a difference between chocolate and pumpkin. We can eat chocolate on its own. It’s less fun to eat pumpkin or squash on its own and it’s better when cooked or blended with other things.
If there was cooked pumpkin blended in, without all the spices and sugar, then it's just hummus with squash. I could probably live with that. But not pumpkin pie. |

are you using the pumpkin pie hummus or just regular pumpkin pie mix? At any rate, I'm using pumpkin. Pumpkin pie mix has a lot of sugar in it and therefore wouldn't be low carb. |

What do you use to sweeten your canned pumpkin in order to make a pie if not brown sugar? I assumed that you were not using pumpkin pie mix because it looks like you make things from scratch.
