Had an early Father’s day dinner.

Country style pork ribs, lots of sushi from my favorite place, mashed potatoes and gravy, and finally some macaroni and cheese.

ooh what was your Saturday supper? Do you have a deep fryer or air fryer for fries?
I know much about air fryers and I know that I actually lack counter space for even a petite air fryer.

Romaine salad
Haricots Vert with brown butter and goat cheese
Boneless & skinless chicken thighs with orange glaze
Plenty of flavor despite no skin on the chicken.

Ooh gorgeous - what’s the orange glaze? I only know the orange sauce from PF Chang’s. I mean Panda Express.

I just mixed some orange marmalade with soy, orange vinegar, sweet chili sauce.
You could use panda express if you want.

This looks decadent, and amazing. If I could only get my doctor to prescribe it, it would be perfect.

Last night, pork chops, asparagus, and some kind of ancient grains mix. Tonight fish tacos.

Well , the cheese pie was decadent and one of the reasons why there is some of the chocolate fudge cake left ( photo in above post taken from his phone ) .
Our friends who baked and brought it said that there was supposed to have been 2 more cheeses but these were unavailable . They had to settle for only having the 5 - Pecorino , Stilton , Gouda , matured Cheddar and shredded Parmesan . The Johnson cheese sausages & Canadian Back bacon helped give the pie some bite .

Wagyu strip steak (cast iron pan, butter basted with rosemary & thyme, served with horseradish cream)
Sweet potato fries (frozen, cooked in the oven, salted)
Bagged Asian salad (dump out the salad, cut open the dressing and squeeze it out, cut open the bag of add-ins, toss to mix)

How'd it turn out?
About once a week, I notice the small jar of really good horseradish we bought a while back and only used a spoonful in the back of the refrigerator. I'll have to make a steak soon.

Delicious! I'm not a huge steak eater, and strip steak is generally a little too fatty for me, but it was incredibly tender. We have two different brands of horseradish, and fortunately it lasts a while in the fridge.
