A scoop of vanilla ice cram would make that slightly warmed cobbler even tastier.
As for last night's dinner I didn't take pics but here goes: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ad4b6a6238.jpg |

I’ve never been, but have heard they have very solid steaks. How was it once you cut in?
I typically order the filet medallions (9 ounces of filet) served over seasoned rice, with two additional sides. $24.99 + tax where I live. I've always found it to be a very satisfying meal. |

I take out from my local Texas Roadhouse. (I dined in once, years ago, and found it too noisy.)

I agree. It's probably my favorite chain restaurant overall. I usually eat at the bar, and quite like the lively atmosphere. I also normally order the filet there if I'm having steak.

I don't usually order steaks at restaurants, because I can generally do better myself at home. But given the pricing and reliability, if I want a steak and don't feel like cooking one, I'm going to Texas Roadhouse. One caveat, the wine list is awful. Josh and Dark Horse for the cabs, Meiomi pinot, and I think there's a merlot, and that's it for the reds. The Caymus in the picture was a gift, so please don't judge :D Corkage is reasonable at $15. |

The steaks are USDA choice. They have a case in front where you can pick your steak and I've seen better marbling at Costco, but no complaints. Steak was perfectly cooked as ordered, and well seasoned.

My friends did not leave last night until after 7:30. Mrs BV was satisfied with the cheese and crackers. I discovered I was hungry enough for dinner but didn’t really have anything I could cook quickly and consume before bedtime. Until I discovered an old half bag of pizza rolls at the bottom of the freezer. Regretting that this morning.
