granted we could offer suggestions for any nation… it’s somewhat clear that our fellow flyertalk member has preferred cuisine to enjoy during the travels. In the 1960s and 1970s, my aunt & uncle took 2-year treks around the world. They traveled within Africa as well as Europe and Asia. They told me that they only went to Chinese restaurants and ate Chinese food in all the places that they visited. I’m sure that they also went to South America - I last talked to them about these travels in the late 1990s because I asked if they had been to the Buddhist statues before the taliban took them down. So a pizza trek within Asia isn’t too shocking since my aunt & uncle ate only Chinese food wherever they trekked. We enjoy our preferences. Mine is local cuisine when traveling.

Papadom spicy roasted gobi - cauliflower - by far my favorite. Only offered every 3 months on the tri-monthly special menu. I have wanted this for oh so long. I’m beyond ecstatic. I need to return 1-2 more times before February ends!!! chicken tikka tandoori - like the masala and Sans (ohne) sauce. bengan barta (eggplant) - alas too spicy for my wife rice kabuli (cherry raisin) naan chai https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b525c6edf.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e83d01916.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d028d2f2a.jpeg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b8f698667.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d77082532.jpeg |

That put the brisket I had the other night to shame. Mine was dry and over cooked. The ribs and pulled pork that came with it were exceptional so I didn’t complain. I couldn’t eat the Mac and cheese either. If I’d listened to the server I would have subbed out a salad.
